Highlights

It's been a little over two months of living here in the city and I've probably done more here than I have in the past year living in Florida. There's just so much more to do, see and experience here. I've had the chance to reconnect with old college friends, meet new friends and make memories that I never want to forget. I'm taking it all in and enjoying everything as they come.

Here are some notable things:

Food

Obviously the food scene here is outrageous. Brunch options galore. Ethnic restaurants everywhere.

One World Trade

If you want to see the city in one go, this is absolutely a must. With wraparound views of the city and the ocean, it was a really awesome experience. I was fortunate to have had the opportunity to go on a clear day during sunset and saw the city in both the light of golden hour and when the city lights came alive.

Bill Burr + Other Comedy Shows

Misfortunes that lead to a great adventure. To see Bill Burr was my first experience at Madison Square Garden - he put on such a great show, it was a packed house. Anyone who really knows me knows that I love puns, so  at Littlefield Theater in Brooklyn, I attended Punderdome - a Pun competition, seriously, the best. My first comedy show here was at Eastville comedy club where Jim Gaffigan guest appeared. :) Hilariously good times here.

Chicago Bulls Game

I can't remember the last time I went to a Basketball game, sometime in college to watch the Orlando Magic play years ago. I was always a Chicago Bulls fan coming from IL and watching games with my dad growing up. It was great to have been able to see them play against my new hometown team, the BK Nets.

Rooftop Bars

There are so many of them. What is it about rooftop bars that is so cool. The views? The drinks? The company? All I keep saying is "The view from up here is amazing". Each time, at all of them.

I'm so glad I was able to make the move up here. More to come.
