Changing with the season

This past Sunday was the most beautiful and perfect fall day I could’ve ever imagined. Nothing stood in the way of it. The sky’s glory was too much to bear that even the clouds didn’t dare make an appearance.

The season has changed with me so much. A whole new wave has washed over me— I’m painting with new colors and seeing with new eyes.

One: You don’t have to have kind thoughts all of the time.
We have to allow the most unkind thoughts about ourselves to come and go. Like the phases of the moon, they aren’t meant to stay, and we aren’t meant to feed them. They must pass without taking root and controlling our actions.

Like autumn leaves, they will come and they will fall away.
